About Dr. Darshan Shah
Dr. Darshan Shah founded Beautologie and serves as Medical Director of Beautologie Medical Group and the Bakersfield Wellness Surgery Center. He has more than 25 years of active surgical experience and has performed more than 8,000 procedures.
He began his medical education in the six-year BS-MD program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, then trained at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield as part of the University of California, San Diego surgical program, performing general, heart and trauma surgery and earning his board certification in general surgery. He went on to rigorous training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Shah is a member of the American College of Surgeons and continues his education through the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Outside the practice he founded The Promise, which repairs cleft lips, palates and burn injuries for patients in India, Africa and South America.
